CHESS CLUB

The Chess Club plays every Thursday evening from 7:00 P.M. until 10:00 P.M. in the café. If anyone would like to play, but is new to the game, basic instruction and strategy can be provided by more advanced players. We can set up people to play with those of similar levels of knowledge of the game. Since we need consistency of involvement in order to have weekly games, players need to call or email us whether they will be playing that week; you can also tell us the week when we meet. There are no dues, however chess sets will be needed since we use our own each week. Portable chess sets can be ordered for anyone who would like to purchase a set.
