COLOR WAR

Color War is not a club but is a unique annual Valencia Palms event that takes place once a year. Remember your childhood camp days? That is the goal of Color War – to relive those fun times while taking into account all levels of ability. It’s also a great way to meet other residents

Events normally begin with the March of the Team Banners. Throughout the three remaining days, activities range from tennis, pickleball, and swim races to rummy cube, canasta, bingo, and Mah Jongg. There are over 50 events, so there is definitely something for everyone! If you don’t want to compete in Color War, you can still participate as a judge.

There is a bagel breakfast, and Color War ends with an evening of the singing of original parodies, dinner, the announcement of the winning team, and dancing.

ANNUAL DUES:  Entrance fee about $35 per person. Each team will decide if they will collect extra money for t-shirts, captain gifts, banners, etc.
