GIFT OF LIFE CLUB

The Valencia Palms Gift of Life Club is on a mission – to support the work of the Gift of Life Marrow Registry by adding potential donors to the registry and raise needed funds to make that possible.

The Gift of Life Bone Marrow Registry is an international bone marrow and blood stem cell registry that helps children and adults suffering from leukemia, lymphoma, other cancers and genetic disorders find matching donors for stem cell and marrow transplants. To date, Gift of Life has facilitated over 3,500 transplants. Our Gift of Life Club organizes our “Celebration of Life” event, fields an incredible team for the South Florida “Steps for Life Walk/Run 5K” at FAU, coordinates the annual Gift of Life Charity Pickleball Tournament in downtown Delray Beach, in addition to holding several other fundraisers.   We coordinate swabbing drives at area colleges and community events and festivals, offering people the opportunity to swab their cheeks and potentially save a life.

Our club believes that every person battling blood cancer deserves a second chance at life — and we are determined to make it happen. We are singularly passionate about engaging our community to help us get everyone involved in curing blood cancer, whether as a donor, a volunteer or a financial supporter. It all begins with one remarkable person, one life-changing swab and one huge win — finding a match and a cure.
