NATIONAL COUNCIL OF JEWISH WOMEN (NCJW)

We are a grassroots organization of volunteers and advocates who turn progressive ideals into action. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children and families.  Through education, community service and advocacy we work towards our vision of a world in which women, children and families are fully valued and supported.  Some of our projects include stocking kids closets in underserved schools, providing “Holiday on Wheels” at local nursing homes at Rosh Hashanah, Chanukah, and Passover, working to end gun violence and human trafficking through advocacy and our speakers bureau, working for humane immigration reform, universal access to health care, and so much more. We partner with other groups such as League of Women Voters to promote civic engagement through voter registration and candidate forums. Since 1893, NCJW has been a force for change. Join us!
